High speed delta wing UAV
Roadrunner is a flying wing aircraft designed to demonstrate the performance of the double taper delta planform for high speed flight and low speed landing. The aircraft is currently the fastest electric UAV ever at the University of Southampton, with a level flight top speed of 120mph.

The aircraft structure is a carbon fibre monocoque, laid up as two 45° bi-axial plies onto a core of foam and lightweight 3D printed plastic. It is capable of +/-10g, with double redundant flight control surfaces and a single tractor propeller driven by a 2.5kW motor.
