JUPITER UAV

Jupiter is a 25kg, experimental UAV designed to carry a medical payload through extreme weather conditions. The aircraft makes use of a split control/lift system for the hover to improve response speed in gusty conditions. While working at the University of Southampton, I designed Jupiter's airframe and oversaw the development of the aircraft through multiple subscale and full scale prototypes.

APX high speed hydroplane

APX is an experimental 3 point hydroplane propelled by a ducted prop. The purpose of APX is to test and validate a number of concepts that will allow such a craft to travel at speeds of 100mph using considerably less power than a conventional boat, without the dangerous instabilities of conventional air-trap hydroplanes.
